Our specialist team spends approximately 2hours during your reception using our Fuji Instax 210 to capture Polaroid-style images of your guests that are then stuck into your chic guest book, next to which the guests can write their personal messages to you and your groom.

With the festive season upon us and now in full swing for the visit of Santa Claus, James Colclough proprietor of the very fine Melton Toys asked us photographers at Point Blank Photography to update his Google Places page, Facebook and website with his very own personalised 360 Google tour of his toy shop to show off all the lovely goodies on sale.
We absolutely love browsing through his shop when taking all the photographs for his tour, sometimes it doesn’t even feel like work to us.
James has been a good sport and a bit of a guinea pig for us in the early stages of the Google Business Photos project, he was the first toy shop in the Midlands to use the new technology supplied by Point Blank Photography and now really uses the power of Google tours for his business, this is the second tour we have created for the toy shop this year as James was so pleased with the response and extra views he had online from his previous version, he thought outside of the box and ran a competition to spot toys in the store with prizes up for grabs for the lucky spotters which we thought was a brilliant idea.

We have just returned home from an excellent FREE blogging event at Scalford Hall, put on in conjunction with Melton Borough Council to help businesses ‘get to grips’ with blogging and learn what to do next with it. Both Jay and Kate of Pointblank Photography took advantage of the workshop hosted by Michelle Jones at Ketchup Marketing, who guided us through the massive world of what to blog, how to tag, which keywords to use and all the other things that become more apparent the further you delve.
Blogging is a great tool for any business. It allows customers/clients to keep up to date with what you are doing, give them a personal feel for you and your company and most of all re-assures people looking at your blog that you are still an active company.
There were many different types of business owners at the event from both Melton Mowbray and Rutland, all (including us!) were somewhat novices in the blogging scene. After 2 hours (and numerous cups of tea and biscuits!) Michelle had explained and shown what blogging, tagging and categorizing can do to improve your Google rankings (who check every page of your site every 3 weeks or so). It is important to add new content so that the Google spider can pick up the new content and improve/alter you rankings. We are now geared up and trying out the information we received from the event to reach even more of you.
